āI love this demo. I love everything about it. The colourful scenery, the wondrous backdrops, the mercilessly sarcastic and egotistical characters and sassy boss, and the self-awareness of it all!
There really is a lot to like here. A nice variety of enemies to take on, multiple paths to choose from (always nice in a 2D side-scroller) and that great ending too! Amazingly awesome!
I'll be watching out for updates on this one, really interested to see where the tale goes from here! =)

Spear of Despair is a story-driven action platformer gameĀ about the knight named Velvet. After returning from a long trip, she found that some losers are making game about her, and was invited to participate in its test. Too bad she didn't know that such a horrible fate awaits her...
A version you're playing right now is just a short demoĀ of a future game. However, I still have plans to make a couple of updates for the demo, such as introducing gamepad support, tweaking balanceĀ and finishing some cut-out content. I hope you'll enjoyĀ the game!
